Terrific job of reinterpreting bebop classics into dancer-friendly ones. Appreciate that all are under 4mins! Favorite track: Segment.

nreynold I love this simultaneously energetic and mellow album! My current fave is Dizzy Atmosphere. I could see this as a great way to highlight Dizzy Gillespie; I feature A Night in Tunisia every year for my 5th graders (among other jazz/blues artists) and how cool would it be for them to compare songs by the same composer?! Here I am nerding out about lesson plans! It’s just the way my brain works. Also love Yardbird Suite. I know I’ll be listening and grooving to it again soon. Bravo! 🙂
